The { Red-&-Blue Craps Game } :

• In general , the game of { craps } involves rolling { 2 dices } to get a [ 7 ] or a [ 11 ] .

  Let us now use 2 x { SOW-14's } as the { 2 dices } and the 4 possible outcomes are :

  • a { Red-Red } , with a probability of [ p * p ] ,
  • a { Red-Blue } , with a probability of [ p * q ] ,
  • a { Blue-Red } , with a probability of [ q * p ] ,
  • a { Blue-Blue } , with a probability of [ q * q ] .

  Question :

  • How did we start-off with something symmetric and ended with something skewed ?

    ( assuming [ p ] is not equal to [ q ] )

  • using { 6 equilateral octogons } instead of the { 6 squares } :
